Families flee Phoenix out of fear of the immigration law, and the city's economy suffers as a result.
The emergency alarm was not turned on the day the oil rig caught fire and exploded in the Gulf of Mexico.
This week hasn't been a great one for cyclists in Portland. Some cyclists found trip wire set up at Ladds Circle, and a TriMet bus driver posted a blog entry entitled "Portland! Kill this cyclist!" — his job has been suspended.
