Geek / Fashion / Film Tron Sneakers: Condemn or Allow?

Unveiled at Comic-Con, these are the Tron: Legacy sneakers that will be produced by Adidas.
Sooooo… what do you think? CONDEMN OR ALLOW?
(NOTE! The side panels don't actually "glow." Instead they included "glow-in-the-dark stitching and reflective TRON screenprint graphics" that appear to glow in the right light. That being said...)

I'll allow it, but I'd rather have a floating shape-changing orb that answers my questions with yes and no answers

What a boon to America's #1 bike city! I'm thinking that bicyclists wearing these kicks can supplement (or eliminate one or both of) their bike lights.

I was all for them if they actually glowed. As is they're a weak tie-in for a movie that's going to flop harder than The Last Airbender.
