Twin Peaks Trivia: Let's Team Up

Posted by Courtney Ferguson on Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 1:10 PM

ShanRock is hosting another Twin Peaks trivia night. Two years ago (almost exactly to the day), you might recall that our humble li'l TP gang took second and earned ourselves a pile o' doughnuts. I also found my calling as a Twin Peaks trivia junkie. Who wants to join me for a run at first place? I will probably drink too much beer and get way too excited about a TV show that's 20 years old. Sounds fun, right? Email me at courtney@portlandmercury.com.

The first thing I ever uploaded to the Internet (to an ftp server in Australia, to be exact) was my long set of rambling notes about symbology and the like in Twin Peaks. It's still around.

Join me b!X! I wasn't nearly so savvy. I had a bunch of handwritten stuff that I called the Book of Knowledge, filled with quotes, timecodes for scenes in the show that I recorded each week off TV, and tons of press clippings. Um yeah.

Boy, I love the show but it's been a few years since I watched it all, pretty rusty on the minute details. Would a question like "which two characters (include the names of the actors, too) starred in the same Best Picture Oscar-winning musical?" be way too easy?
