Columbia River Crossing: Pro and Con

Posted by Stefan Kamph on Thu, Jul 29, 2010 at 5:13 PM

Check out this debate between CRC Co-Director Richard Brandman and Stop the CRC Coalition member David Osborn.

Also of note: Metro released findings showing that a 10- or 12-lane bridge with light rail and tolls would increase North Portland employment by 1.5 percent and spur a minimal increase in unwanted suburban growth in Clark County. Unwanted by Metro, at least.

Pretty interesting. Thanks.

The guy with the suit wins... just because he doesn't look like a serial killer who just emerged from 10 years of hiding in out in the woods.

You can't win on facts if you make a bad first impression. 90% of Portland are boring workadays and not hippies.

Stop the CRC coalition should raise funds to buy a metric ton of Old Spice and hire a part-time hairdresser.

Needs more ferns.

On the positive side, at least Zach Galafanakis has lost some weight.

@Clean Shaven - Come on, he's wearing a nice shirt, and his beard is trimmed. I'm a workaday corporate guy and he'd fit in fine with the executives out here. Sheesh!

Poor showing by Osborne... lets hope that this doesn't get widespread distribution.
