BEER-STORY—In a near-meta twist, the Oregon Historical Society's History Pub takes on the history of the Oregon brewpub, with an incredible panel of brewers, writers, and legislators who made Portland's beer paradise possible. PAC
Bagdad Theater, 3702 SE Hawthorne, 7 pm, FREE

COWABUNGA—Tired of landlocked living? Slip on your best Jams and flipflops and cruise over to Holocene for the first annual Beach Bunnies Get Bent: A Surf Night. w/Guantanamo Baywatch, Orca Team, the Reservations; Holocene, 1001 SE Morrison, 8:30 pm, $5

Also tonight: Pints for PICA, a pre-TBA fundraiser with all proceeds from a keg of Full Sail going to PICA. That's from 5-9 pm at the Lowbrow (1036 NW Hoyt). And if it's music you're looking for, check out End Hits'
