It took a half dozen years but Jealous Butcher's Led Zeppelin tribute record is finally prepared to see the light of the day. But this ain't no Encomium—please tell me you remember this tribute album, it had 4 Non Blondes doing "Misty Mountain Hop"—instead From The Land Of Ice And Snow: The Songs Of Led Zeppelin features a staggering cast of over 50 Portland bands (from M.Ward to Chris Walla, Tu Fawning to LKN) and more than 210 minutes of music. The album is broken down into a pair of CDs, plus an additional digital download of a third record. Damn.

If that's not enough, a portion of the profits will be donated to First Octave, which helps provide the Portland Public School system with money for music education. There will be a special release show planned for the 9th of October at the Doug Fir, but if you can't wait that long, pre-order the album here. The full tracklisting is after the jump.

End Hits: Is this why no band wants to be on Page and Plant tribute album?
