Welcome to the debut of a new Blogtown series (of indeterminate length and frequency) that I have saddled with the cringe-worthy title of "3DS News Bites" and the only logo I whipped up this morning that wasn't a bunch of Donkey Kong hentai, unnecessary lens flare and pictures of my cat killing small animals.
As the name suggests, this will be a line of quick, bite-sized posts that gather up informational hors d'oeuvres on Nintendo's upcoming 3DS handheld gaming platform in the run up to its scheduled release early next year.
Today's information blast comes courtesy of Capcom and concerns the 3DS debut of two of their biggest franchises, namely the virtual pugilism of Street Fighter and the robosexual eroticism of Mega Man.

Capcom today released the first trailer for Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, a 3DS-exclusive version of the company's mega-successful fighter. Though "portable Super Street Fighter IV" is enough of a reason to have already sold me on the game, the trailer covers a few more of the game's new features, as well as offering further evidence that this title is going to be shockingly close to its console counterparts in the aesthetics department.
Mega Man Legends 3 is coming to the 3DS. Though the majority of people missed the Mega Man Legends games when they first hit the original PlayStation, trust me when I say they are the most underloved yet brilliant titles in Capcom's long-running action series. Since MML3 was only announced like two days ago, there isn't much known of it, but for those of you clamoring for any and all information here's a subtitled video clip featuring Capcom bigwig and Mega Man character designer Keiji Inafune laying it all out for us.
