Halloween Costume Ideas

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 3:58 PM

Found Item, which reproduces t-shirts from films, just rolled out their annual Halloween costume guide, with a handy checklist of all the items you need to pull each character off. "The point is that anyone can do this, usually with items around the house or local thrift store. (And our shirts, of course.)" says FI's Travis Greenwood, who (full disclosure) once humiliated me in front of all the "coolies" at the Reed College coffee shop during freshman orientation week by refusing to sell me cigarettes even though I was TOTALLY 18. Anyhow, they're easy. You can see them all here, but my I think my favorite is Slater from Dazed and Confused:

"Oh, man, I'm fuckin' wasted."

Is that really a costume? Or just what every 20-something wears everyday

Thanks, I was looking for help looking like a complete ass. By the way, the actor who played that character in Dazed and Confused was actually wearing false long hair under a hat, not unlike this dude. I guess whatever made it work in the film, compared to this idiot (or what it would look like if I tried to wear this costume) is what actors get paid for. For a Halloween costume that works, it takes a bit more creativity.
