So Lynda Barry Made a Painting About How Our Cover Story Made Her Feel

Posted by Sarah Mirk on Fri, Oct 15, 2010 at 11:08 AM

In a mind blowing bit of crossover, Lynda Barry, the amazing comics artist who I interviewed for the Arts section this week told me she's interested in transcription and parsing out the way people talk. I recommend she read our feature this week detailing the best complaints to city hall. And she did! And she made this painting about how it made her feel:

Wow!
  • Wow!

You, too, can dance around your living room after reading the best complaints to city hall, especially if you listen to the audio on the side of the article.

Don't miss the lovely Lynda Barry here in Portland doing a reading and signing on behalf of Reading Frenzy. Details here.
