We caught a few folks offering these for sale outside the convention center, right across the way from the people shouting "We Love America." They're available to anyone willing to fork over $25, and they're from Ghana, I'm told.

Not long after we passed the shirt-sellers, a shouting match erupted between an angry Brit and a yahoo wearing an right-wing "Americans For Prosperity" anti-Obama T-shirt. "You should feel ashamed wearing that styoo-pit shirt," the British fellow shouted. "You can't even spell that." And there's evidence he might not have been able to spell. Among the gaggle of signs was this dig at Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Kitzhaber: "Ungovenable."

Eventually liberal protesters moved into the area, still holding signs haranguing the president for not closing Guantanamo or bringing back troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, to start trying to piss into the Tea Partiers' tea cups.

More photos, all by Sarah Mirk, after the cut.
