I ran into my state legislator Jules Kopel Bailey outside in the massive line to get in to see Obama stump for John Kitzhaber at the Convention Center.
"What are you doing here? Isn't there some kind of VIP line?" I asked Bailey, who was wearing a blazer, after all.
"This is the VIP line," replied Bailey, "There's 10,000 VIPs."
Among the 10,000 VIPs: Bob Stacey! Who we endorse for Metro President in our hot-off-the-presses election issue.

TV news tweets have brought it to my attention that Air Force One has landed, everyone! Obama better be bringing us peanuts.
