Fashion / TV "Mondo Will Do Fabulously Anyway, And Gretchen Needs The Money"

Yowch. Tim Gunn did a Q&A after some fashion show that looks like it happened at the mall, and was asked what he thought about the Season 8 Project Runway winner, Portland's Gretchen Jones. Here's his reaction (bear with the shaky amateur camerawork):
That's pretty much been the sentiment, and I agree that things couldn't have worked out better for both of them, but the unilateral condemnation of Gretchen's win has got to be pretty intimidating. On the other hand, the public will always remember her name if and when she reemerges from under this, and that's ultimately a good thing... right?
