Portland / Video Relive the Re-erection! Video Chronicles Fall and Rise of Iconic Sign

It's been two months to the day since the Hung Far Low sign was restored to its rightful place, presiding over Fourth and Couch. We were there for the party that celebrated its return from a Scappoose sign repository, snapping pictures like mad. But we weren't alone.
The Portland Development Commission today has finally put out its video of the event, showing off the sign's unveiling but also offering up-close, behind-the-scenes footage of its removal and restoration. Also included is a primer on the proper, Chinese pronunciation of the sign, courtesy of the original restaurateur's grandson: As in, say the "Low" like you would "cow."
It's only 3 minutes or so—a nice break from pulling out your hair and poking pencils into your eyes after reading the 50th Facebook status of the day in which some friend has told everyone they've voted. Yay.
