Tonight: Zombie-Killin' Action in The Walking Dead.

Posted by Erik Henriksen on Sun, Nov 7, 2010 at 11:51 AM

So tonight's the second episode of AMC's crazy successful horror series The Walking Dead, based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard, Tony Moore, and Cliff Rathburn. I'm looking forward to it; while hardly perfect, last week's pilot suggested that the show's gonna be keeping the comic's grim, survivalist tone while improving the characterization and dialogue. In other words, it was pretty damn solid. Did you miss it? Here you go. You're welcome.

Also, nerd footnote: You guys know what an Xbox 360 Achievement sounds like, yes? Keep your ears open during this bloody shot.*

Also, another nerd footnote: Provided you don't have AMC, Mercury pals Cort and Fatboy are showing The Walking Dead every week on the big screen at the Bagdad Theater. Show starts at 10, but get there early—last week, a Halloween crowd eager for zombie-slaughterin' filled up not only the Bagdad, but also the Back Stage Bar next door.

*Get it? Shot? Eh? HA!**
** Apologies.
