The last time Joel Przybilla took the court for the Portland Trail Blazers it looked a little something like this. One ruptured tendon in his right knee later, the Blazers toughest player was shuffled off court. To add injury to injury, Przybilla aggravated the same knee while slipping in the shower in March of this year, an incident that proved to a national audience that this team is indeed cursed, but at least someone in Portland actually takes showers.
But unlike some Blazers big men who are unable to rehabilitate from a knee injury, Przybilla is actually coming back. According to this Twitter post from the O's Jason Quick, the Vanilla Gorilla is 90% certain he will return for this Friday's game against the New Orleans.
Yes, I just reported Blazers news that involves a Blazer player recovering from an injury. That felt great.
