Snowpocalypse!! This Is My Favorite Song About Snow.

Cadallaca, "Winter Storm '98." It's a song about Oregon and snow. I was 16 in 1998 and that might've been the year my dad took me to a parking lot to teach me how to snow-drive. Last winter I had to abandon my roommate's car on the side of Burnside, 6 blocks from my house, so I guess the driving lessons didn't take. Oregonians. I know. We suck.

I remember owning that album back in the late 90's! I probably sold it off for drinking money, though. Sorry, ladies!

I remember that storm at the first sunny day we had in '99 I was biking down the lower part of Hawthorne. Everyone was smiling and a guy looked at me from the bus stop he was waiting at. We both smiled and he screamed at the top of his lungs: "ISN'T THIS THE BEST FUCKING DAY EVER!?"
