Let all the budget-busting, Bush-era tax cuts expire—just like the GOP Congress that approved them originally intended (aren't Republicans all about original intent?)—and then get out there pin the fucking blame on Republicans who refused to compromise with you on preserving tax cuts for the middle class.
Why not refuse to be played? Just for once? Just to see how it feels?
