Geek Geeky Wonderland Holiday Party

Remember when Erik blogged about the nascent Portland Geek Council of Culture and Commerce, an umbrella organization aiming to "unite Portland's nerdier businesses"? Tonight the PGC3 is hosting a free holiday party where member organizations will "get their geek on", or possibly "let their geek flags" fly, I'm not really sure yet what the rallying cry is. Anyway! :
Several of of the member organizations will be putting together short performances onstage (including burlesque performer Geeky Von Tease and the indomitable PDXYAR!), with plenty of time between them for you to enjoy some classic video gaming (thanks to member organization Ground Kontrol), enjoy a digital gallery of local comic and geeky art (curated by Sequential Art Gallery), or just chat with any number of pirates, trekkies, browncoats, or ninjas. Door prizes will also be awarded, donated by the likes of Things From Another World, Billy Galaxy, Backspace, Atomic Arts, Excalibur Comics, and Ground Kontrol. There will also be a special surprise headline act.
That's tonight at the Someday Lounge, 7 pm-2 am—for free!
