CMT Pulls 'Racy' Video

Posted on Mon, Dec 20, 2010 at 11:44 AM

Over the weekend it was reported that hillbilly network CMT would be banning Julianne Hough's "Is That So Wrong" for being too "racy."

This story is interesting because, unlike it's pop counterparts, CMT actually still plays music videos. But is it really racy? If you compare it to say "Dirrrty" by Christina Aguilera or almost any Lady Gaga video then no—not so racy. Still, there seems to be some sort of point to the sexuality of those videos. Hough's video doesn't seem to have a point. She just runs around an expensive apartment in L.A. performing a strip tease. So, her stripping is equal to her desire for love, right? Right? (By the way, she dates Ryan Seacrest. Ugh.)

Here's the video. You decide if it's too racy.
