AND EVERYTHING IS GOING FINE Spalding Gray! Steven Soderbergh!
  • AND EVERYTHING IS GOING FINE Spalding Gray! Steven Soderbergh!

So here's a film section to read once you're done figuring out what Spidey's doing to that guy's face.

SANCTUM: A boring movie about a bunch of boring people. In a cave.

AND EVERYTHING IS GOING FINE: Steven Soderbergh's assemblage of Spalding Gray monologues is half biography, half eulogy. It's great.

WILD TARGET: Awwww. Ron from Harry Potter is still trying to have a career that's not Hogwarts-related!

In other film-type stuff happening this weekend:

• Cort and Fatboy (and the Mercury!) present DIRTY DANCING tonight at the Bagdad.

• Dan Halsted's badass bunch of kung fu flicks SHAOLIN CINEMA: HONG KONG FILMS OF THE LATE 1970S AND EARLY '80S wraps up at the Northwest Film Center.

LANCE BANGS shows some stuff at the Hollywood, with the Mercury's own Sarah Mirk in tow.

More, as ever, in Film Shorts. Movie Times are here.
