Stumptown Cold Brew(!)

From Imbibe Magazine:

Stumptown Coffee Roasters is gearing up for iced coffee season with the release tomorrow of its first-ever bottled coffee. Cold-brewed from the roastery's house blend and bottled at Portland’s House Spirits Distillery, these bottles of cold-brew goodness are full of rich, chocolaty aromas, tangy fruit flavors and earthy undertones.

Bottles have that Olympia Stubby/Red Stripe/Sessions feel, and according to Imbibe they'll keep for up to 10 days in your fridge. Expect to pay $3.50 a pop.

I'll probably buy it a few times. Not because of the product, I have a sad addiction to drinking things out of stubby bottles.

Holy god, that's expensive. As amazing as it is that someone is finally making bottled cold coffee without motherfucking milk in it (!!!), I just can't imagine spending that much money on a little Session bottle of old coffee. Prediction: sales will start out hot then quickly taper off as Portlanders realize they didn't just buy a bottle of beer.

I saw the picture and was hoping for espresso stout with a rich chocolately aroma, tangy fruit flavors and earthy undertones. I don't want to drink anything other than beer from one of those bottles.
