Not the confetti cannon treatment! That can be pretty painful if you're not able to relax into it.

It took a lot of self restraint to not run over many of these nimrods during my evening commute. They all had red tote bags, too, so I wanted to call them "Totebaggers."

Reminds me of the "getting It' scenes from the movie Semi-Tough. Awesome movie, by the way.

Thanks for the collection of tweets! I was wondering what was happening in there. Some of them also had patriotic balls on their way home. That is all.

Scary, somewhat amusing core sample of our cultural rotten log.
So, was the whole thing a gigantic pitch for a DVD and something in a box, or what?

I am very lucky that I didn't have to work this particular gig. I know people that did, though. It is said that Colin Powell no longer has a security complement, which I find hard to believe.

I did the Get Motivated gig several years ago, and went into catering to get myself some water (they, like the Women of Faith tour, have bottled water with their logos on the front; shades of Nuremberg). In there, right after the show, were all those shills coming back with all those checks that all those stupid people had written. I have rarely been so aware of being in the presence of pure malignance.

Steve Forbes emerging between flames is totally my left shoulder tatoo!

(Steve Forbes cascading down a waterfall is my right)
