Tonight at the Hollywood, Portland's new indie It film Some Days Are Better than Others opens with a 7 pm screening and Q&A with director Matt McCormick, cast members including Carrie Brownstein and James Mercer, and the film's producer and composer; McCormick will also be doing a Q&A for the 9:15 showing.

I didn't much care for the movie—and am still suffering from the mild cognitive dissonance of seeing Portlandia star Brownstein playing a role that is the embodiment of every Portland cliché her sketch show takes aim at. (Maybe I didn't get it because it's too much like my life. Portlandia joke! Put a bird on... nevermind.) You can read my review here, if you want your buzz harshed.
