Maybe I'm just jaded but I don't know what else you expect from a tweeny culture in which monsters like this terrifying Jenna Rose person are given a platform. I thought it was bad enough going through puberty in the shadow of, like, Cindy Crawford, but girls today have no chance. Speaking of young female role models that spell certain doom, you should check out Erik's web-only review of the push up bra-tastic Sucker Punch. I went with him to check it out and let me just say: INAPPROPRIATE! This phrase sums things up nicely: "It's a squirm-inducing exploitation flick that loudly, unconvincingly insists it's an empowering fable." What he said.
