The sun has set on our most recent intern as he rides off into the distance, which means the search is officially on for a replacement! As many denizens of Blogtown know, an internship in the editorial department of the Mercury means an opportunity to build direct experience in the multi-media wonder world that is contemporary newspaperin'. Prospective candidates will:

—Have a familiarity with and an appreciation for the Mercury's style and breadth of coverage.

—Be reliable. We're cool and flexible and everything, but be here when you say you'll be here, please.

—Be not averse to some data entry. Film Times don't grow on trees, you know.

—Have a talent and enjoyment for writing. We'll even let you use the F word sometimes!

—Be self-motivated and able to keep yourself busy, and generate ideas. There is always another blog post out there waiting to find its forever home!

If that sounds like you, send a resume and cover letter to me! The rest of you: Pass it on!
