LANEGAN AGAIN—I caught Mark Lanegan with Greg Dulli at the Wonder a couple years back. They were fire and ice—Lanegan representing the cold front, with his chilly fount of raspy baritone. The former Screaming Trees frontman will be performing a low-key acoustic set for the fiery hearts of his Portland fans. CF

FUNNIES—Paul Hornschemeier writes high-concept comics for those who like their funnybooks on the cerebral side. Tonight he signs his newest, Life with Mr. Dangerous, which is about the dead-end life and daydreams of an unhappy 27-year-old woman. AH
