Can Voodoo Doughnut Make The Guinness Book of World Records?

Cancel your plans to drive over the Hawthorne bridge on August 6, when the PDX Bridge Festival's second annual "Brunch on the Bridge" returns, covering the bridge with 28,000 square feet of grass, trees, picnic tables, and lawn games—tickets were set to go on sale at noon today:

In addition to all the barefoot cornholing and picnic blanket lounging, this year Voodoo Doughnuts is going for the Guinness Book record for "The World's Largest Box of Doughnuts." In order to do so, they will need to surpass the record set by The Kuwait Food Co. Americana in 2009, who procured "A Krispy Kreme box weighing 135 kg (297 lb 10 oz)."
