Oregon Poetic Voices Wants To Record Your Emo Poems!

Posted by Jacob Schraer on Thu, Jun 23, 2011 at 2:58 PM

This Friday Oregon Poetic Voices is offering free recording to local poets tomorrow at the City Archives building (1800 SW 6th Ave, Suite 550). The sessions will be open from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. and is first come first serve. Each poet will be allotted four short poems or about fifteen minutes to record.

The Oregon Poetic Voices project is an archive maintained at Lewis & Clark campus and online. It documents local poets and recordings of their work. The session is free, though any participants will have to sign a waiver allowing the archive to use their poems. But you also get a copy of the recording to be a part of the archive, which is a fair trade.
