In the brief window during which Portland enjoys the best West Coast weather north of San Francisco, one wants to as many of their activities to take place outside as possible. This includes fashion shows, which when they occur on a precious July Saturday had best occur in the sun, preferably with an adjacent beer garden. Luckily, Alley 33 does just this, transforming an alley off SE Hawthorne into a runway setting for nearly 20 Portland designers.
