This has been a long time coming:

Attorney General John Kroger announced yesterday evening that perennial initiative-backer Bill Sizemore plead guilty to failing to file his taxes for three years. That trick won him a sentence of three years of probation, starting immediately with 30 days in Marion County Jail.

That's funny because Bill Sizemore has pushed rewrites of the Oregon tax code, including Measure 47, which capped annual property tax increases. Sadly, no one told him that non of his initiatives did away with tax entirely. (It's not funny because he has kids and anyone's dad going to jail is a sad event.)

This is not Sizemore's first time in jail. In 2008, he spent time in Multnomah County jail for
illegal campaign activities
. A year later, he was indicted for tax evasion and found to be broke.
