… and no, it has nothing to do with these guys.

When asked by the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinal editorial board what he thought was up with "the gays," GOP Rep. Allen West spun this doozy of a quote:

"I like chocolate chip ice cream, and I will continue to like chocolate chip ice cream. So there's no worry about me changing to vanilla. I like to, you know, ride my motorcycle. What do you want me to do? You want me to change my behavior and ride a scooter? I'm not into that. People can change their sexual behavior. And I've seen people do that. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, so I've seen a very different perspective on human behaviors. So that's where I'm coming from on that."

Here are some thoughts I thought about that:
1) I have yet to meet a gay person who didn't love chocolate chip ice cream.
2) So people can't change from being a motorcycle to a scooter rider, but they can change their sexual orientation? THAT CONFUSES ME.
3) I must visit this wondrous land he calls "Atlanta." Immediately.
