Food / Portland Hamburgers for Sisters

If you feel any hamburger cravings coming on, this is a good week to succumb to the business between the buns over at the reincarnation of Hamburger Mary's and get a taste of the good old days. Beginning today and running through Wednesday from 3-6 pm, the Portland location of this queer-centric burger franchise is donating 10 percent of proceeds from food and drink to one of our favorite local charities, Sisters of the Road. Or, if you really want to do it up, on Thursday they'll host a Drag Queen Bingo Night beginning at 7 pm, with 100 percent of bingo proceeds, in addition to the 10 percent from food and bevvies, going towards Sisters' Dining With Dignity program. And Mary's is far from the only one; check here for a complete list of where put your dining dollars to good use through the end of this month (Il Piatto, Mississippi Pizza, Tin Shed, Cafe Nell, Prasad, Escape from New York, Proper Eats...).
