Street Books Documentary

Posted by Alison Hallett on Mon, Aug 15, 2011 at 11:44 AM

Earlier this summer, I wrote about "Street Librarian" Laura Moulton—the story has since made the rounds of the lit blogs, including a piece in the Christian Science Monitor a few days ago.

Portland filmmaker Travis Shields recently made a short documentary about Moulton's project, which is particularly great because Shields interviews some of the people who frequent Moulton's book cart.

Find more of Shields' PDX-themed films at Portlandography.
