It's probably a small relief for the "Rehab" singer's family to know that illegal drugs are off the table as a contributing factor to her July 23 death. From the LA Times:
Meanwhile, her family has suggested a host of other causes, including emphysema, an irregular heartbeat, too much alcohol in her system, or even too little alcohol. What a horrifying shame it would be if going off booze cold-turkey is what killed her. But at this point, it's still a mystery.
Toxicology reports show Amy Winehouse did not have drugs in her system, according to a statement by the "Back to Black" singer's family. The results, which have not yet been publicly released, indicated that there was alcohol present in her body at the time of death, but it's unclear in what amount.
