Morning Cup o' Sexism: Libyan rebels give Gaddafi an extra week to surrender before attacking. Gaddafi's response: "We won't surrender again; we are not women."

Turkey vs. Israel: Turkey expels its Israeli ambassador over Israel's refusal to apologize for last year's raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla, claiming they acted in self-defense.

Taxing Tricks: German prostitutes are now required to pay a meter a flat rate of $8.65 a night to walk the streets. If caught without a ticket, they face a fine of $145.

A Jobless August: The US economy failed to add any jobs in August, marking it the first in 11 months without any increase. At least the unemployment rate remained constant, at 9.1 percent.
