I did not compose the title of this post as a cheap way to grab your attention. The American Cancer Society did. For the Love of Boobs is the name of an upcoming fashion show benefit for their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign (note to self: be careful what you wish for) of merchants that span the gamut from indie to—oh hello there, H&M. Full list: Clair Inspired Vintage, Milagros Boutique, Cheryl Edmonds Designs, Mabel & Zora, SheShe, Hollywood Babylon, Tumbleweed, Portland Garment Factory, Union Rose, and yes, seriously, H&M—that's actually a pretty good representation of the mix that most people dress in, with a little local, a little vintage, and a little of what the Brits call high street. Tickets will run you 15 bones, and includes live music, beer and wine, and food, and it's taking place October 14 at Elements Glass. Because BOOBS.
