Theater PATA "Fight Night" Benefit

Tonight at 7:30 pm, the Portland Area Theater Alliance is hosting that rare benefit that actually sounds pretty fun. Local companies will be present short fight sequences in a variety of genres—Lakewood Theater Company does a scene from Annie Get Your Gun; Tears of Joy puppet theater presents a song from the raunchy muppet musical Avenue Q, "The Internet Is for Porn"; Shaking the Tree takes on The Importance Of Being Earnest. Even the Trek in the Park crew is in on the action. And then there is a "throw a pie in the face of your local theater critic" auction, so if you want to throw a pie at me tonight's your night.The show's at 7:30; PATA's got more details.
