Part-Time Calendar Editor Wanted

The Portland Mercury is currently looking for a part-time Calendar Editor to join our editorial department. This job includes entering event information into our music, arts, film, and restaurant database, and maintaining the excellent entertainment calendars you depend on every week in the Mercury. The successful applicant will have prior professional data entry experience, lightning fast typing skills, a fervent attention to detail, wicked sharp organizational skills, and consistently seek perfection without being socially annoying. Some knowledge of the local music and art scene is a definite plus!
This position pays $13/hour, part-time (approximately 30-hours/week). Perks include flexible working hours, flexible telecommuting, and a work environment that isn’t as soul crushing as some you’ve experienced. In fact, it can be pretty fun sometimes!
