Now THAT's How You Get Me Interested in Your New Album, Black Keys

Posted by Ned Lannamann on Tue, Oct 11, 2011 at 11:51 AM

This morning a press release for the new Black Keys album was emailed to the Mercury inbox. It contained information about the Ohio group's new album, El Camino, coming out December 6 on Nonesuch and was produced by Danger Mouse and words, words, words, blah, blah, blah. What the press release didn't say is that Bob Odenkirk—of Mr. Show and Breaking Bad—did a video promo clip for the new record. Now THAT's how you get me interested in your record, Black Keys! Here's the video, which is incredibly stupid (it's the same joke over and over) but I can't help but laugh out loud at it. Well done, sirs. I patiently await your new album.

End Hits: I don't know how he did it, but he's out-sleazed Saul Goodman.
