Film Calling All Primitive Screwheads: Army of Darkness at the Kiggins

We haven't been to the newly remodeled Kiggins Theatre in Vancouver yet, but the upgrades to the 1936 building (sound system, seats, flourishy flourishes, and a beer and wine lounge) look delightful. The best part though? Army of Darkness!!! This weekend!!! Practice your Necronomicon mumblings, while you ogle the super-porkable Ash Williams as he fights Deadites and struggles to get back to S-Mart for his shift. I often oscillate between Army and Evil Dead II as my favorite Sam Raimi creation, but it's looking like the Bruce Campbell & Co. of 1300 AD is edging ahead this Halloween.
