Sex at Dawn Reading and Q&A

Posted by Alison Hallett on Wed, Nov 2, 2011 at 1:44 PM

Tonight at the Bagdad, Christopher Ryan reads from his acclaimed book Sex at Dawn, an investigation into the evolutionary origins of sexual behavior that as I understand it gives everyone permission to cheat on everyone else all the time. Right?

Just kidding: Dan Savage called it "the single most important book about human sexuality since Alfred Kinsey unleashed Sexual Behavior in the Human Male on the American public in 1948.”

Here is a video of Ryan talking about monkeys bangin'. (Bonus: extreme camera angles for people who lack attention spans.)

Details on tonight's reading are here.

Bonus: This is what happens if you YouTube search "sex at dawn." (SFW; NSFself-respect, feelings of well being.)
