East Side pizzerias tend to get most of the play—Ken's, Apizza Scholls, Dove Vivi. But the West Side's selection of Pizza is in the midst of a pretty substantial facelift. A press release went out this morning announcing that Via Tribunali—Seattle's popular chain that's been teasing Portlanders since March—finally has an opening date. Come November 15th, Via Tribunali will be serving their popular Neopolitan pizza to downtowners from 4 to midnight Tuesday-Thursday, and Sunday & 4 to 2am on Friday and Saturday. (36 SW 3rd Ave.)

Another much-anticipated pizza joint is Oven & Shaker, the newest project from Nostrana's Cathy Whims, Aviation Gin's Ryan Magarian, and the Chestable empire. If you just can't wait until the official opening, you can buy tickets to the Oven & Shaker preview dinners (Nov. 22nd & 23rd) from LivingSocial. Your $65 gets you dinner, cocktails, and, I guess, a first shot at Yelp reviews. (1134 NW Everett)

The new Sizzle Pie outpost (in the old Rocco's space) is still a few weeks from opening (though, considering how long I waited for their original location to open, I'm not holding my breath). And finally, Mellow Mushroom—the Atlanta-based chain that's slowly crept across the country, is up and running in the Pearl District (1411 NW Flanders).

Maybe now you guys'll get out of the Apizza Scholls line so I can get a goddamn table.
