A couple months back I reviewed Torta-landia—the Mexican-style sandwich shop off Foster—and though I thought there was a good deal to like, I took issue with the housemade bread. I just got a note from one of the owners, Patricia Eddy, who informed me that they've switched out their own buns for Grand Central's. She says that customers, so far, have been happy with the switch. I'm glad to see that they're doing some fine-tuning, and I'm looking forward to checking out the results.
