Frocky Jack Morgan Makes Itself At Home

Posted by Marjorie Skinner on Mon, Nov 28, 2011 at 10:44 AM

Longtime pillar of Portland's independent fashion design scene, Julia Barbee recently returned after a stint in Los Angeles, and is digging in her heels. This Friday, Dec 2, there will be an open house for the new Frocky brick 'n' mortar shop at 811 E Burnside Ste 122. Joining 811 neighbors like Haunt, Redux, and Sword + Fern seems like a natural fit both for Barbee and the kind of shopper who seeks out the 811 complex for re-purposed treasures and fantastical one of a kinds. Doing double duty as a studio space, look for regular hours during the December shopping phase (11-6 Wed-Sat) and look for the sandwich board outside after that. But first, drop in for an early peek and a cider on Friday from 6-10 pm.
