Taxi Crashes Into Jupiter Hotel, Seriously Injuring Sleeping Guest

Posted by Sarah Mirk on Thu, Dec 8, 2011 at 12:29 PM

Another week, another driver losing control and causing a serious crash.

This one is especially scary: This morning at around 10:50 AM, the driver of a Radiocab van crashed into a room of the Jupiter Hotel, driving straight through the hotel wall and seriously injuring the person who was sleeping inside. According to a fire officer on the scene, the cab pinned the sleeping patron against the wall and medical responders had to pull the cab out of the room. The driver may have had a medical emergency, which would explain why they lost control of the car. Both people were taken to the hospital. Terrifying.
