How to Deal With a Hideous Barbed Wire Fence

Posted by Sarah Mirk on Fri, Dec 16, 2011 at 10:14 AM

Green Dragon Brewery in Southeast Portland used to face an ugly surface parking lot ringed by a barbed wire fence. No more! Now it faces a jail.

"Beerrectional Institution" might've been funnier. After a few beers, anyway.

Better than kicking someone in the shins as they leave the field. :(

Yes, you should kick them in the shins when they are ON the field! Don't you watch the Timbers footie?
PS when did this town become 44% limey?

That's a pretty interesting picture. I used to love Rouge until I found out about their labor practices. Those fucks can't even give their employees sick time or any days off, at least according to United Food Workers. From the article it appears that Rouge treat their employees like utter shit, and their owner is an asshole. So, fuck'm. I haven't drank their beer for over a year, and damn do I miss Deadguy. It's an ironic picture, because I see a similarity between a prison and working at Rouge.

I really love rouge, too. When I need to redden my cheeks to appear more youthful, I accept no substitute.
