Mercury Gold Star: The Mercury's Web Comment of the Week!

Actually I'm giving it to a whole comment thread. On a bad day, the comments section of our I, Anonymous blog is where my belief in the essential dignity of the human spirit* goes to die. On a good day, everyone gets REALLY ANGRY ABOUT COOKIES! And it's pretty funny.

Setup: Someone leaves a plate of cookies in the hallway for a neighbor. The cookies are stolen. The cookie leaver writes an I, Anon about it (notably employing the term "twatwaffle"). Blogtown responds with characteristic empathy. Representative comment:
