I was pretty underwhelmed with David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but one part of the film was extraordinary: The opening credits sequence, featuring oozy, oily, jet-black imagery of tech and body horror set to Trent Reznor and Karen O's thudding version of "Immigrant Song." io9 has an interview with Tim Miller of Blur Studio, the folks behind the sequence. (For those of you keeping track at home, Blur also did the badass trailers for Star Wars: The Old Republic, not to mention The Goon, which if I had a hundred million dollars I would immediately rescue from development hell.) The interview's well worth a read, plus at the end of it, io9 has a video of the full credit sequence. (Remember: Maximum volume and full-screen mode are your friends.)
