Yet again innovations in sneaker design have scrambled my brain:

What we've got here is one-part minimalist classic sneaker, and one part flexible aqua sock-heeled ballet flat. Firstly, an elastic-heeled shoe always looks slightly fetal unworn, so this is not the most flattering product shot. On the foot they would essentially just look like a simple pair of exceptionally lightweight sneakers that you wouldn't have to bother tying—inoffensive. On the other hand, choices motivated by laziness are only fashionable in extremely rare cases. What say ye? (Another view is after the cut.)
