It's going to be a busy week for Election 2012, with Republican debates tonight and Thursday and the State of the Union tomorrow night. But tonight's debate holds a special place in my heart. That's because it's the first debate after South Carolina, which is the state that made this ad possible:

Newt Gingrich is framing himself as a master debater. That means he has to bring it tonight. He's not the only one: As Mitt Romney's campaign short-circuits, the possibility that a tiny piece of Romney's humanity might escape out of his mouth by accident has never been higher. And Rick Santorum is going to have to work double-time to remind people he's in the race. Plus: Ron Paul is going to be on a tear about the TSA replacing his son with a Manchurian Candidate. The possibility for a campaign-ending mistake has never been higher, my friends.
